A new hotel opened in Indianapolis this fall. But this isn’t just any ordinary hotel.
Those who drive by or have heard of Ironworks Hotel Indy are likely aware of the boutique hotel’s industrial charm. The new north side hotel, located adjacent to Ironworks at Keystone’s mixed-use apartment and retail complex, offers a lodging experience unique to Indiana. Guests can choose from four room styles and suites, all inspired by 19th-century architecture and adorned with modern features. The Smart TVs, spa-like bathrooms with frosted glass rainforest showers, queen-size leather sofa sleepers and cozy beds make Ironworks Hotel a must-stay in Indianapolis.
Our hotel also features a spacious fitness center, complimentary wireless Internet, dry cleaning services, in-room dining, complimentary valet parking, courtesy shuttle services, soon-to-be four exclusive restaurants, spa and, better yet, special accommodations for your furry friends.
And, if you wanted to make your stay even more memorable, our attentive staff would be happy to enhance your room with special amenities like chocolate covered strawberries, a bottle of champagne or rose petals, making it the perfect place for a romantic weekend getaway or wedding suite. Guests looking to make their weekend special may also be interested in relaxing at our on-site spa, Massage Heights, for a couple’s massage or facial. The spa opens on October 26, 2017.
Off the lot, the hotel’s prime location enables guests easy access to a variety of Indianapolis treasures such as the Fashion Mall at Keystone, the Monon Trail, Conner Prairie Interactive History Park and many others.
For those interested in celebrating the hotel’s opening and checking out all the hotel has to offer, we’re hosting Ironworks Social on Saturday, October 21 from 5-10:30 p.m. During this outdoor fall event, food from Ruth’s Chris, Provision, Rize and Sangiovese Ristorante, and libations from Hotel Tango and Sun King Brewing will be available for purchase. Guests can also enjoy live music from Indianapolis favorite The Bishops and Wisconsin-based WiFEE and the HUZzBAND. Tours of the boutique hotel will be available upon request, and artists will be on site to describe their exclusive Ironworks Hotel showpieces.
No matter where you’re from or how long you’re here, we would love to make your time in Indianapolis an extraordinary one. Book your stay with us today!
As we open our doors to guests and visitors from every corner of the country, we wanted to provide the inside scoop on the retail tenants joining our hotel. From sushi to spa services to locally sourced meals, there is something for everyone at Ironworks Hotel Indy!
Opening on September 12, 2017, this highly anticipated restaurant is the product of Cunningham Restaurant Group, a well-recognized restaurant group in Indianapolis, Ohio and Kentucky, known for eateries such as Stone Creek, Vida, Livery and more. Provision will offer a unique and community-focused experience for restaurant-goers, sourcing a large majority of their food from local farmers and artisans. Also joining Provision is the highly regarded Chef Layton Roberts.
This farm-focused restaurant will offer sweet treats from Zionsville, Indiana based My Sugar Pie and Confectioneiress and Lawrence, Indiana-based Sundae’s, to name a few. The menu will be heavier on steak than other Cunningham Restaurant Group eateries, sourcing meat from natural farms where cows aren’t administered hormones or antibiotics. A custom hamburger blend will also be crafted for the restaurant.
Other notables include seasonal menu items, a Cunningham Restaurant Group-owned greenhouse for vegetables, Marine Council sustainable-certified seafood from Fortune Fish & Gourmet and many other unique offerings.
Another Cunningham Restaurant Group eatery joining Ironworks Hotel Indy is Rize, a health-focused breakfast and lunch spot opening in early October. Like its counterpart Provision, Rize will source many food products from local farms and artisans. Strong emphasis will be placed on grains, juice and coffee bars, in-house made kombucha and more.
The fresh juice bar will offer a wide variety of flavors, while the Hubbards and Cravens coffee bar will feature an espresso machine sourced from Italy. More than eight different types of bread will also be available for patrons interested in unique toast toppings, such as ricotta and berries. For those on a tighter schedule, a grab-and-go section will be accessible, offering croissants, breakfast pastries and various breads, all made artisan-style daily.
While Rize’s social media presence is still under construction, you can follow their website for more information.

Unlike other massage spas, Massage Heights separates themselves with their belief that they are an integral part of a guest’s overall wellbeing. Similar to other healthy practices, such as exercise or healthy eating, Massage Heights operates on the mantra that regular massages are an important part of an individual’s lifestyle.
Bringing an experience that isn’t currently in the Indianapolis market, Massage Heights places guest experience above all else. Guests who visit the Ironworks Hotel Indy location of Massage Heights will also have the pleasure to experience the company’s 2.0 spa concept, which will include custom detail, open layout floorplans and a unique front desk setup. Upon visiting this location, guests will find that they are immediately greeted by Massage Heights team members in an open and guest-centered manner, utilizing iPads and an open front desk rather than in traditional, uninviting style.
Services offered at Massage Heights will include a variety of massages, ranging from deep tissue to couples to hot stone therapy. Various facial options will also be available for guests, including services tailored to anti-aging, sensitive skin, purifications and more.
As Massage Heights looks forward to their October opening, they are excited for their many community-based initiatives. Though they have not yet selected a local charity to focus on, they are sponsoring the Colts Cheerleaders this season – so if you’re lucky, you just might meet some at an upcoming event!
Not all that long ago, we were hosting the groundbreaking ceremony of the new Ironworks Hotel Indy. As we near completion a little over one year later, we can’t help but feel somewhat nostalgic looking back on all the progress we’ve made and excitement that is to come.
We want you to feel that enthusiasm while getting a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the development coming to fruition. Check out what Ironworks Hotel Indy has to offer as you eagerly anticipate the opening of our hotel this fall…
We broke ground on our new hotel on June 29, 2016. It’s been a year of hard work and dedication to making the hotel flawless, thanks to Shiel Sexton. While it was sometimes difficult to envision the intricate details the hotel would one day possess, we were on the verge of building something great.
It was also in our earlier stages of construction that we announced our first retail tenant, Blue Sushi Sake Grill. Known for their diverse array of sushi selections, including vegetarian and gluten-free options, we knew that Blue Sushi would bring a unique and fun experience to compliment Ironworks Hotel Indy.
Once we hit the six-month mark of construction, we saw the hotel truly begin to take shape. With all five floors now intact, we began installing the windows on each level. Fortunately for us, it was a mild winter in Indianapolis, which allowed us to trek on with construction without much interruption from the snow.
Once springtime hit, you could really start noticing the hotel’s fascinating details, such as the installation of the brick exterior and historic port cranes that now differentiate Ironworks Hotel Indy from competitors.
Then came the announcement of Cunningham Restaurant Group’s two new restaurants opening at Ironworks Hotel, which was touted by The Indianapolis Star, Indianapolis Business Journal and more. Rize, a breakfast and lunch restaurant focused on clean eating, and Provision, an upscale lunch and dinner concept, are the latest restaurant additions to the boutique hotel.
The newest retail tenant to join Ironworks Hotel Indy is Massage Heights, a rejuvenating spa that provides superior massage and facial services. Construction for the facility began in late July, and future guests will be thrilled to enjoy one of the countless professional and affordable therapeutic services the spa offers.
At long last, we’re entering the final stretch of construction for the hotel. Rooms are being furnished, the lobby is nearly complete and the last pieces of art are being installed. It’s been quite a ride, and the grand finale is just around the corner!
